These Terms of Service govern your use of 3Q Movers' moving services and website. By booking our services or using our website, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using 3Q Movers' services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use our services.

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the modified terms.

2. Service Description

3Q Movers provides professional moving services including:

  • Local residential and commercial moving
  • Apartment and condominium relocations
  • Loading and unloading services
  • Packing and unpacking assistance (when requested)

All services are subject to availability and may vary based on location, timing, and specific customer requirements.

3. Booking and Quotes

Quote Requests: Quotes provided are estimates based on the information you provide. Final costs may vary based on actual services rendered, distance, time required, and any additional services requested.

Booking Confirmation: A booking is confirmed only when you receive written confirmation from 3Q Movers via email or text message. Verbal agreements are not binding until confirmed in writing.

Deposits: A deposit may be required to secure your moving date. Deposit amounts and payment terms will be specified in your booking confirmation.

4. Payment Terms

Payment Methods: We accept cash, credit cards, debit cards, and electronic payments. Payment processing fees may apply for certain payment methods.

Payment Schedule: Unless otherwise agreed in writing, full payment is due upon completion of services. For larger moves, we may require partial payment before services begin.

Late Payments: Late payments may be subject to additional fees and interest charges as permitted by law.

5. Cancellation and Rescheduling

Customer Cancellations: You may cancel or reschedule your move by contacting us at least 48 hours before your scheduled move date. Cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance may result in forfeiture of your deposit.

Company Cancellations: We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule services due to weather conditions, equipment failure, or other circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, we will provide reasonable notice and work with you to reschedule.

Refunds: Refund eligibility and amounts will be determined based on the timing of cancellation and services already rendered.

6. Customer Responsibilities

As a customer, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information about the items to be moved, including size, weight, and special handling requirements
  • Ensure clear access to both pickup and delivery locations, including parking availability
  • Disclose any hazardous materials, prohibited items, or items requiring special permits
  • Be present or designate an authorized representative during pickup and delivery
  • Secure valuable items, important documents, and personal belongings separately
  • Notify us of any building restrictions, elevator reservations, or access limitations

7. Liability and Insurance

Basic Coverage: 3Q Movers carries basic liability insurance as required by law. This coverage provides limited protection based on weight (typically $0.60 per pound per article).

Full Value Protection: Additional insurance coverage is available for purchase. We recommend discussing insurance options when booking your move.

Exclusions: We are not liable for damage to items improperly packed by the customer, damage caused by inherent defects, or damage to prohibited items. We are not responsible for delays caused by weather, traffic, or other circumstances beyond our control.

Claims: Any damage claims must be reported in writing within 7 days of delivery. Claims should include photographs and detailed descriptions of damage.

8. Prohibited Items

We cannot transport the following items:

  • Hazardous materials (explosives, flammable liquids, corrosives, toxic substances)
  • Perishable food items
  • Live plants (for long-distance moves)
  • Pets or live animals
  • Illegal items or contraband
  • Cash, jewelry, or other high-value items (unless separately insured)

Customers are responsible for transporting prohibited items separately. We reserve the right to refuse service if prohibited items are discovered.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, 3Q Movers' total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the amount paid for those services. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory under which liability is asserted, including breach of contract, negligence, or strict liability.

10. Dispute Resolution

Informal Resolution: We encourage customers to contact us directly to resolve any disputes or concerns. Most issues can be resolved through good-faith communication.

Arbitration: If informal resolution is unsuccessful, any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitration shall take place in Sarasota County, Florida.

Class Action Waiver: You agree to resolve disputes on an individual basis and waive any right to participate in class action lawsuits.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding shall be brought exclusively in the courts of Sarasota County, Florida.

12. Severability

If any provision of these Terms of Service is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable.
